IK Rating Antennas
IK code is an international classification to define the degrees of protection provided by enclosures against external mechanical impacts. It specifies the capacity of an enclosure to protect its contents from external impacts in accordance with IEC 62262:2002 and IEC 60068-2-75:1997. IK code starts from 00 (no protection) to 10 (protection against 20 joules impact).

Grand-tek Ik rating antenna
Regarding outdoor installation, IK rating is a universal standard and Grand-Tek provides ranges of outdoor antenna & enclosure complies with IK07 to IK10.
Grand-Tek outdoor IK09 GPS/GNSS antenna, nicknamed mushroom antenna, low-profile yet robust for outdoor application.
Beside mushroom antenna, Grand-Tek Nema enclosure paired with top cover are also comply with IK07 to IK10.
OTS, off the shelf, plastic top cover is the most common adopted ones with IK07 rating, while OTS metal top cover is able to meet IK10 rating. Both comes with 3 sizes to suit perfectly with Grand-Tek AC, GLB & Formosa Nema enclosures.
